Take climbing to the next level!
Whether you are completely new to climbing, lead 5.12 in a gym but have never experienced climbing on real rock, or are a more experienced outdoor climber who just wants a fun day of top-roping, our guides will set up climbs appropriate for your ability level.
You’ll get a full day of instruction from an experienced, well-trained and supportive climbing guide. We’ll teach you the basics of body movement in the vertical realm and explain how the gear we use works to keep us safe.
We provide transportation and all the climbing gear you’ll need: rope, shoes, harness, helmet, and belay device.
Sign up for one of our adventure trips, or we would be happy to put together a custom rock-climbing trip for you. We can accommodate groups from one to 25 climbers.

Come join our staff for a climbing adventure at Pictured Rocks County Park. Pictured Rocks is the most popular climbing destination in Eastern Iowa. Located near Monticello, IA along the bluffs of the Maquoketa River, Pictured Rocks features maintained and bolted sport-climbing on Iowa limestone.
Time: 8:00am – 4:00pm
Age: 14+ years. No experience necessary. Travel and all equipment provided.
